Amazon doesn't make it easy to make sense of the reviews any more. All these negative reviews are for various rip-off on-demand editions that were cheaply priced, but no bargain. So cut to the chase-- The Llewellyn Edition produced by Donald Tyson in either paperback or the forthcoming 2018 hardback edition is a bit expensive, but better for the student, just as are ALL of Tyson's well-researched works... make the wise choice and make a bee-line for the Llewellyn editions of this work, you'll be glad you did.

This book is printed in a MUCH smaller format than the size of the book. Very misleading and terrible quality. Do not purchase.

A sturdy, quality piece of work. A great book to work out of or simply add to your occult library. An inexpensive piece of quality. Bravo, Llewellyn!

Spelling mistakes, bad formatting. AND it is only the first part and not the full 3 books. Get Donald Tyson's edited version instead.

Very interesting so far! The author who translates this has definitely done his homework and exhausted all his translations with a fine comb and even shows you this by his referancing of other literature and explanation of why he translates things a certain way.The back story is great as well. Really gives the book context. Without the back sotry you would lose a lot from the value this book provides.

Ever since I bought my first copy of this many years ago I wished it was in hard cover. Now it is and I didn’t hesitate to buy it.

Professor Terwiesch is the Andrew M. Heller Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Well written, logically organized book.Examples and case studies are very relevant and support the theories concepts addressed in the book.The formulas are logically presented and no leaps of faith are expected from the reader; all there in plain site.If the author had included CDROM or a link to download the various models, or solutions in Excel files, the book would likely have become a desktop reference. Without the practical utilitarian materials, it is still a great book, but its daily application is limited in my case.One can develop the models on his/her own, but today, the cost of a textbook, must include materials that enhance the longevity and practical application of this book. .I was hoping for a manual to use more often than only while travelling on the Introductory Road to Operation Research-ville.

The book is black and white and not proof read. Content is good, but the formula for the solved problems are not printed and are left out!page 462 and 463

The textbook is very easy to follow, has great examples, very accessible and actually interesting to read. However buying this book on Kingle was a big mistake. Yes, it's great to read the material, however there are many tables that the text refers to, and Kindle doesn't make it easy to click on tables and then go back to text. It is especially hard to do problems, when you need to go back to the specific pages or find formulas or a table. It's doable, but would have been much much easier with a physical book. Yes, Kindle has 'bookmark' and 'highlight' functionalities, but they are hard to use and not intuitive. Until Kindle can offer touch-screen and be more intuitive, I'll stick to reading only books with plain text on it.

The book explains the concepts in digestible terms using examples that were easy to understand. Inside print is in black and white, which didn't bother me, but if you're looking for flashy color, it's not in this book.If your prof doesn't require the newest version, I'd recommend an older one. Basic Ops Mgmt principles are pretty tried and true. I don't think you're going to miss a lot of revolutionary discoveries from one version to the next, so save yourself the money!

Good introduction into the field of Operations Management. I had taken a similar class when I got my Bachelor's degree (I was an Accounting major), but this book is very much more in-depth. Assumes some knowledge of Algebra.

Excellent book on supply chain management written by a professor and guru on the subject. Easily understandable and also serves as college course text. Should be a must-read for business people who run restaurants, sandwich shops, banks, government offices and any place where true customer service is important. Have referred it to my local McDonald's, Popeyes, Scotiabank, government department and others to read so they can improve their service systems.

College textbook, came in the ordered condition.

We have been using the same devotional since 2004 and Joyce's words are helpful year after year. We have both Am & PM devotionals. Interestingly we find comfort year after year and are amazed that these are perfect all the time!I have so many of her books and have never been disappointed in the least.The only reason for buying a new one is because the pages were falling out and needing to be replaced.Enjoy this great way to begin and end your day right :)

If you like placing your day on a spiritual basis before you head out the door in the morning, you will like this book. Joyce has walked the walk and she knows the principles to apply to start your day right and keep it on track. Each meditation is tied to scripture which I find gives it a greater depth and firmer foundation. It is not preachy or condemning, so if you just want a helping hand as you walk thru the challenges of your day, you would like it. There is one meditation on each page - short enough to get thru in a busy morning, but long enough to present a complete thought or principle to focus your mind on, so its a very nice way to start your day positive and grounded.

This book I have purchased five times to share with family and friends. Very inspiring each morning with new scripture and verse and thoughts regarding the same. Mine is my lifeline to think and live each day as best I can. Would recommend it for a simple daily anchor for anyone.
