Amazing book! Seriously! I’ve read several good books on the male/female relationship/connection/psychology issues that most of us seem to have, and this one just takes the cake for describing perfectly the issues in several areas I was having understanding and relating to my wife! My friend who recommended it to me, recommended it as “the first book to actually open my eyes as to what went wrong with my previous marriage”. I am actually going to shortly order several printed copies to loan to my friends, and recommend it to many young men as “the book you must read before you get serious with any prospective wife”. Please note, probably many men will hate this book because it outlines the Biblical teaching of how a wife will respond and grow with the mans appropriate care, which is quite opposite to how many western cultures think it should be done. I can personally testify that after honestly applying the truths in this book, there has been an absolute fantastic change in my relationship with my wife for the good, where previously we were not doing well at all. Thanks Ken Nair for writing this! (No I don’t personally know the author, and I have nothing materially to gain from writing such a high review, I just think this sort of truth needs to be shared).

Amazing book! Completely different from every other marriage improvement book I've ever read. This book is so challenging that I doubt most men will accept the challenges the author presents. The entire book is predicated on the foundation that husbands are to live with their wives in an understanding way (I Peter 3:7). One passage from p. 119 demonstrates this"If your wife is pleasant, easy to live with, and able to handle the stresses of life confidently, then you are, in all likelihood ministering to the needs of her spirit"The author views a marriage form the Biblical perspective that the man is the initiator and the wife is designed to respond to him. So, if the wife is constantly upset, unhappy, complaining, etc. then the husband has failed to minister to her spirit adequately. Ken Nair then provides the answers by presenting 4 male prejudices men have against women; 6 qualities that endear men to women; 5 symptoms of an uncared for wife; 6 indicators of unsolved communication problems and 3 major Biblical concepts vital to a successful marriage.The author provides plenty of useful examples from his years as a marriage counselor and they resonate with me. I would recommend this as a textbook for any man serious about improving his marriage and willing to make the changes the author recommends.

Ken Nair has the amazing ability of clearly examining not only the mind of a woman, but the heart as well. Even if you are not married, but have a mother or sister, this book helps a man to understand why women are the way they are. By God's magnificent design, women are different than men. A man's logical thinking may not always understand why a woman cries, or becomes emotional over something he thinks is trivial. Ken Nair opens the door to understanding and discovering how a woman thinks.

My husband has been reading this book (and I've read some, when he wasn't looking!). It is a wonderful book on how to treat your wife with respect and kindness, to ensure a Godly marriage. Our pastor recommended it to my husband, who hasn't finished reading it yet. As his wife, I can say that I feel more cherished than I ever did! Based on that, I would recommend it to other couples. I think hubby would, too!

I have read a lot of marriage books and this one is BY FAR the best. It is written directly to men, as it should be. This book helped save my marriage and eliminate a lot of prejudices I have had. It very clearly spells out what is expected of men by the Lord Jesus, there is no better way to love your wife than the way our Creator intended!

Pros: This is a wonderful book for anyone who wants to have a Christian and God centered marriage! If only husbands followed the counsel in this book today’s divorce rate could be fractioned.Cons: you may want to toss it across the room when you get to the second chapter, but if you hang in there and try the concepts, it could revolutionize your marriage!

If I detailed the change this book has made in my family, honestly, you wouldn't believe me. So let me just say that my husband was living the life that seems the norm for good, Christian family men. He worked 50+ hours a week, came home exhausted and frankly, just wasn't interested in investing himself in me or our children. That man is dead. In his place is a man who has repented publicly for putting God and his family second to everything else in his life. In his place is a man who just wants to be Christ-like to us first, and everyone else around him second. It's been over a month since he read this book from cover to cover in 7 days (while working 50+ hours a week). He keeps picking up momentum. I think I'm going to start giving this book to every bridal couple I know.

My father-in-law read this book and recommended it to me when I came to him to discuss what I could do to help my marriage to his daughter. I have started applying the principles found in this book. I have not yet reached the point in my marriage that I necessarily feel the benefits with my wife, but I feel better and closer to God, knowing that I am striving to be more Christ-like, regardless of how my wife feels towards me. That is really what needs to be gleaned from this book. Read it with an open mind, and with inward focus towards what you need to change. Cause it’s not about you, it’s about serving others. Most importantly your wife.

In my photo, next to it is His Girl and monkey king. The ten year book is printed way too small. To truly appreciate his amazing artistic abilities, it would be better if they printed it as large as the "Monkey King book". Also, the paper quality is pretty bad. It feels cheap and images are dark.They should have used copper plate paper... like in the other book.... basically.... just come on... the conttent is amazing, but it's so poorly printed.. I don't recommend you getting it.

katsuya Terada is an amazing artist. Not only for his great skills, but also for his sense of design and creativity. You will be amazed by the huge amount of drawings in this book. I am an artist myself and I can not understand how he is able to draw so much, so well!!! The only drawback on this book is the size of it, and the size of some drawings. With a rich and detailed artist like him, you want to see the piece as big as possible. Regardless, its not a reason do give less than 5 stars. The artist deserved it. Even if it was a very little book, still I would have bought it. But on the next one, I strongly recommend to make it bigger. Also, even if I always want to see as many drawings from Mr. Terada as possible, to put less pieces, in order to give more room to the choosen ones.Easy 5 star. Strongly recommended.

It is all in japanese, but truthfully, you should buy this book to look at the collection of incredible illustrations, and not for reading. This is a great book for inspiration.

this book is fantastic. if there was one thing i didn't like is that i find it a bit small compared to most of the art books I have. many of the illustrations would be more exciting if the format of the book was simply bigger. Other than that i am thrilled to add it to my collection of artist books.

For $33, this art book is an utter steal. The description does it no justice as it's PACKED with sketches, paintings and some of the most intricate, gorgeous line art drawings ever (the best part). I'll be buying more books of Mr. Terada's work. Can't get enough!

Bigger!! I know, it's an American thing. This is a gorgeous book. Even my strict Catholic mother scanned it and remarked on it's incredible artworks. This is worth every dime, and that is a rare feat. Now, if only we could get more of his work translated into English.What makes his work stand out is the way he uses charged violence and eroticism without denigrating their power. His designs perfectly meld the mechanical and the organic into a fantastic functionality that would make H.R. Giger proud. Even as he does this it is not cold and alien but human, lively, exotic and often very down to earth.This is an exceptional collection and I can't recommend it highly enough. Just don't get worked up over the small format and small images. That's just the price of a book chock full of creative magic.
